How quickly can I get a replacement for a lost hearing aid?
I am looking to purchase hearing aids from Specsavers as the last ones I had from you have served very well for a few years, unfortunately I managed to loose one of them. I will be going out to Spain at the beginning of August and really need them by then as I am staying for an extended period of time. How long does the process take and if longer than 4 weeks? can this be pushed through quickly. I am looking at in-the-ear aids as I have tried over the ear and they simply don't suit me.
Answer:
The normal period for having in-the-ear hearing aids made and fitted is two weeks. However, in situations such as this, it is often possible to receive them within a week. Speak to your local Specsavers audiologist and explain your situation to them.
