What types of appointments are available online?

Depending on what your local Specsavers store offers, you can book 7 different types of appointments online:

  • Adult eye test (age 16 and over)
  • Child's eye test (age 15 and under)
  • Contact lens assessment
  • Contact lens check-up 
  • Hearing appointment (age 18 and over)
  • Hearing protection consultation (age 18 and over)
  • Ear wax removal (age 18 and over)

You can also book any appointment by calling your local Specsavers store.

What eye health conditions can I contact you about?

Our online expert chat service can help with non-urgent sight and hearing health questions. If you have an urgent query, please contact 111. 

You can also call your local store to arrange an appointment if you are concerned about minor eye conditions like blurry vision, floaters, headaches and sore eyes. Find out more about these conditions with our eye health guides.

My specs don't seem to fit properly, does this matter?

It's important that your glasses are a good fit, as poorly fitting glasses can affect your quality of vision. If you feel that your glasses are too far away from or too close to your eyes, visit your optician and have your frames adjusted as soon as you can.

Can I manage my easycare account online?

Yes, if you have an easycare subscription, you can manage your subscription through My Contact Lenses to:

  • Order more contact lenses before your next scheduled delivery
  • Skip a delivery and take a payment holiday if you have more lenses than you need
  • Find out when your next delivery is due
  • Alter your daily disposables package
  • Update your address and other details easily

How much do hearing tests cost?

Hearing tests at Specsavers are free of charge. If you think you’re having difficulties with your hearing, find your nearest Specsavers Audiologist to book a test.

Do I need to inform the DVLA if I need glasses for driving?

You don't need to notify the DVLA if you need glasses for driving. However, when you apply for your driving license, you must declare whether you wear glasses while driving.

Can I return products if I am not happy with them?

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you have any concerns within 100 days of your purchase, let us know and we'll put it right with no fuss.
