There are a few ways you can ask our experts eye and hearing health related questions:

  • Use our live chat function by clicking the green "Chat with an expert" button at the right hand side of this page.
  • Head over to our Facebook group to post your question
  • Fill in the form as per the instructions below

Remember to provide as much detail as possible. The more detailed your question is, the easier it will be for our expert to provide an answer.

Before answering your question, we need you to fill in the following form carefully. If you are asking a question on behalf of someone else, please complete the form with their details. Fields marked * are mandatory.

All questions will receive an email response within a few days (excluding weekends and public holidays) that falls into one of three categories:
– a response from our expert
– a referral to an answer already on the site
– we’re unable to answer the question and suggest that you discuss the issue with your own optician or audiologist.

If you wish to ask a question our expert will endeavour to answer every enquiry. However, please be aware that there are some questions which we are unable to answer:

  • Where you require to be seen by a medical practitioner, particularly where you require a medical diagnosis to be made. Ask the Expert is not a diagnostic service.
  • Situations in which insufficient information has been given.
