• We do all the paperwork for you, making it easy to switch from your current provider

• We will take care of all paperwork and where appropriate will leave a quotation for the home to pass onto the resident’s family. The family can then deal with us directly, or via the home – whichever they prefer

Our Personal Eyecare Package
We provide a Personal Eyecare Package, a unique support tool to help care for residents’ eyes.
The PEP has been specifically designed for use in busy care homes and contains each resident’s personal eyecare information, including the results of their eye test, the glasses dispensed and tips to help individuals get the most from their vision. It also contains a quick reference guide to the tasks that the residents enjoy doing and which glasses, if any, they need to wear.
All the information is presented in a simple, easy-to-use format, which we are confident will quickly become an indispensable aid in the residents’ care. The PEP can be kept as part of the individual’s care plan.
Hearing tests in care homes
At Specsavers, we provide a home visit hearing test service for residents of care homes, carried out by our friendly team of audiologists. Our service allows residents to receive a thorough and professional evaluation of their hearing ability, all in the comfort of their own care home. We use all the latest technology and equipment to make sure each resident receives the same high-quality experience as they would during a standard in-store hearing test.
