LFW Get The Look - The Trendiest Eyewear Looks for SS25

With London Fashion Week just a few weeks ago, fashion lovers are on the hunt for ways to weave the runway trends into their wardrobe - the easiest way to do that? Accessories.

What are the LFW SS25 Trends?

Bianca Swan, Style Editor at Specsavers, says: “Eyewear is only becoming more and more popular within the fashion world. Fashion houses and celebrities alike remind us that glasses are more than just a necessity; they can be the accessory that completely pulls together your look.

The key trends from this season’s LFW span maximalist prints, bold colours, florals and, surprisingly, plaid! We love how there is something for every season and every trend here at Specsavers, and we hope our lookbook will guide customers to curate their perfect SS25 wardrobe and find a style to suit them.”

Read the full lookbook below to see how Specsavers frames can help you embrace London Fashion Week’s SS25 glasses trends.

Get the Look

Glasses are a great standout way to make full use of trends beyond just your clothes. The majority of the UK population needs glasses, so we may as well use them to express our personal style!

Red-y, Set, Go!

Making its way from interior trends to runways, the ‘Unexpected Red Theory’ boasts that an outfit never fully looks complete until a hint of red is injected, even if at first it seems like it doesn’t fit. Much like finishing off an outfit with a pop of classic red lipstick, or now for SS25, some bright red glasses. We love Yanin’s (@idressmyselff, on the left) take on this trend during London Fashion Week, mixing leopard jeans with red cowboy boots and red glasses; pining this outfit to my Pinterest immediately!

These statement-making red frames from Colour Union have a stylish retro bow shape with elongated corners and a chic sweeping bridge. Gold hinges with a touch of neon blue mean this pair are sure to turn heads. Choose this pair to finish off a monochrome outfit for the perfect unexpected red pop - straight from LFW SS25’s runway!

Dopamine Brights

The concept is simple: if you wear colours that resonate with you, your brain releases dopamine – the ‘happy hormone’, leaving you with a more positive mindset.

To help everyone emulate Dopamine Dressing and dress for their mood in SS25, Specsavers has partnered with Stylist and Colour Expert Sian Clarke to launch their latest collection of glasses - Dopamine Brights.

Speaking on the trend, Sian commented: “If you opt for a blue frame, the hormone oxytocin is released. This instantly relaxes us. The calmer we feel, the better we communicate, the better relationships we build, whether that’s at work or in your personal life.”

It’s not just blue that affects us, all colours do! Wear these pink glasses from Colour Union to boost your creativity and confidence. The oversized round lenses boast a bold fuchsia frame with rounded gold hinges for a stylish touch. Teaming these beautiful bright glasses with an equally bright ensemble is sure to boost your dopamine levels!

Hot pink a bit too spicy for you? Cool it down whilst embracing the trend with pastel-coloured glasses. We love this play on the iconic denim-on-denim look with pastel-toned frames spotted at LFW! Steal this look: florence by mills lilac frames.

Pattern Pleasers

Tartan, tweed and houndstooth - quintessentially British patterns. But we know what you’re thinking, tartan? For Summer? Well, take it from Fashion East themselves, year upon year, they showcase the best of London's up-and-coming design talent. Weaving tartan into your outfit through your frames is the perfect way to nod to this against-the-grain trend for SS25.

Take this pair from the queen of tartan herself, Vivienne Westwood. Embrace the edge with these Vivienne Westwood tartan glasses, square lenses with a thick glossy black frame and the iconic Orb emblem at the temples, this pair nods to the Brit Print trend with traditional tartan inside the arms. Wear these with head-to-toe patterned attire to rock the look.

Another iconic pair of Vivienne Westwood glasses was spotted at London Fashion Week. Embrace your wild side by leaning into the animal print trend! This outfit is one to recreate - pairing leopard jeans with flat brow line glasses in rich tortoiseshell acetate for a fresh, trendy everyday look.

Full on Florals

We don’t mean understated florals. LFW SS25 saw lots of big, in-your-face, maximalist florals and that means wearing them where everyone can see – on your face!

Fancy these floral glasses from Cath Kidston? So do we! The oversized cat-eye lenses are surrounded by a funky floral and heart-printed frame. With pearly white to the insides, the classic logo at the temples finishes this pair off perfectly. No one does florals like Cath Kidston.
