About Specsavers corporate eyecare service
In a wide range of environments, including offices, driving, industrial, manufacturing, and construction, you are legally obliged to provide eyecare to certain members of your workforce, including employee eye tests and prescription safety glasses.
From DSE glasses for office staff, prescription safety eyewear for workshop staff, and eye examinations for company car drivers and other commercial vehicles, or trusted regular optical care, there’s a voucher to meet your needs.
Cost‑effective, simple to use, and rewarding. Our corporate eyecare voucher schemes cover all aspects of corporate eyecare, and crucially, are designed with both the employee and employer in mind.

Prescription Safety Eyewear
If your employees work in an industrial environment, or in any setting that involves working with hazardous materials or flying debris or objects, they’re potentially at risk of damaging their eyes.
Specsavers’ Corporate Eyewear voucher scheme allows employees to select and try frames with personalised service, ensuring a seamless experience and consistent quality. By providing your employees with Specsavers Safety Prescription Glasses, you’re choosing quality, safety, and durability; premium eye protection tailored to your specific needs.
Safety eyewearTerms and conditions
By law, employees using Display Screen Equipment (DSE) (formerly Visual Display Units or VDUs) such as PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones for continuous periods of an hour or more a day should be provided with an eye test, funded by their employer, when requested. If glasses are prescribed for the distance the screen is viewed at only, then needed solely and specifically for DSE use, the employer is obliged to pay for glasses.
Specsavers corporate eyecare vouchers offer responsible employers an easy, cost‑effective way to stay on top of their legal obligations, and at the same time make sure employees can avoid unnecessary discomfort at work. The cost of our DSE voucher is £19 and includes a full eye test itself and provides the employee up to £70 towards selected glasses.
What does the DSE voucher include? A comprehensive eye test to assess vision and eye health. If glasses are required solely for DSE use, the voucher provides one complete pair of glasses from the £50 range, fitted with standard single‑vision lenses plus a scratch‑resistant treatment. It does not give a contribution to glasses needed for additional tasks such as reading or driving. Additionally, the £50 contribution can be used towards an upgrade to other higher‑priced frame ranges, when required solely for VDU use and you (the employee) can pay the difference. Furthermore, our free Premium Club corporate eyecare voucher offers a further £20 contribution when glasses are selected from the £100 range or above, giving you a combined contribution of £70 and the employee pays the difference between the £70 and the £100 or higher‑priced frame.
