The actual eye test itself, as a wheelchair user I had a very bad experience at my previous test 2 years ago at a rival's optician. The rival made me sit adjacent to the usual optician's chair. Feeling very put out and never feeling as though my eyesight was right. However, the removal of the optician's chair, moving me in my wheelchair to the correct position and being able to use the machines etc. was so brilliant that I have no qualms that my experience going forward will be very good.
The friendliness, the staff uniforms, the cleanliness of the premises but most of all the quality of service I received from everyone I came into contact with - even the young apprentice who was on her first day.
The genuine enthusiasm shown towards the customers and the seamless transition from one stage to the next from eyetest to chosing frames. It was quick and efficient. Blaydon specsavers have themselves a really good team.
