• You or a loved one might have a condition that stops you from leaving your home unaccompanied due to poor health.
• You are living with a diagnosed mental health condition that prevents you from leaving your home without the assistance of another person.
• You may be housebound or bedbound due to a physical disability.
• If you live in an area where NHS-funded home hearing visits are available, your GP may need to confirm you are registered as housebound and a formal GP referral may be required.

In some areas, we offer an NHS-funded home hearing service.

This includes an NHS-funded hearing test, new hearing aids, and aftercare for up to three years. These visits are subject to meeting the local eligibility criteria.

If you live in an area where NHS-funded home visits are available, you may need to contact your GP for a referral to Specsavers, however in some areas you can book directly with your local home visits team without the need for a referral. Give us a call on 0800 089 0887 to find out more.
