Are photochromic or tinted lenses suitable for driving in?
Photochromic lenses work in UV light, which most car windscreens block out. As a result, they tend not to react as quickly in a car as they would normally.
Tinted glasses, lenses or visors should not be worn at night or in poor visibility, but are fine to use in good driving conditions.
