Mishearing is driving a wedge in romantic relationships
We’ve released new research that reveals how couples (aged 55+) say ‘what?’ more often than ‘I love you’ in their daily lives. What’s more, a third (36%) of people surveyed admit that they argue every week due to not quite hearing each other properly.
To help put an end to these unnecessary arguments, we’ve teamed up with one of Britain’s most beloved couples, Michael and Hilary Whitehall.
Our research shows that half of us (46%) admit we’ve argued with our partner because we couldn’t hear one another properly – leading to us feeling frustrated, ignored and even unloved. For many, this results in arguments, walking away and even the silent treatment.
But what if there was a solution? A hearing check.
If you or your partner aren’t quite hearing each other clearly or you’re not getting the whole conversation, book a free hearing check with a Specsavers hearing expert. It might just solve more than you think.
