Opticians help local Rainbows to see clearly
The team from Runcorn Specsavers recently opened their doors to the Sandymoore Rainbows, teaching them everything they need to know about ear and eye care.
Under our wing
The group of 18 youngsters were taken under the wings of optometrist Ellie Mitchell and dispensing opticians Sophie Atherton and Louise Bell, who gave the girls a tour of the store and taught them about contact lenses, glasses, and the importance of regular check-ups.
A lesson in ear and eye health
Chris Graham, store director at Runcorn Specsavers, said: 'It was great to have the Rainbows in and teach them what Specsavers do and why looking after their ear and eye health is so important.
'We hope they pass the message onto their friends and we look forward to seeing them all for their check-ups in the near future!'
