Staff from Specsavers in Wood Green have raised £220 for a local hospice charity for children after a fun day in the store.
And it is not the first time that customers and staff at the store have raised much needed funds for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.
Huge fundraising total
Over the years, the store has raised £1,805 for the charity, which provides hospice at home care to children in North London - and have also collected toys for them at Christmas.
The charity is currently building ‘The Ark’, a state of the art hospice to complement the service they currently provide.
Lopa Shah, store director in Wood Green, said: ‘Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice does some amazing work with children and their families when they most need practical and emotional support.
‘We are delighted to have raised so much money for them over the years, and will continue to do so. Thank you to our customers for being so generous.’
