Specsavers in Wokingham has moved and the team are delighted to show off the fabulous new space.
Now located at 18 Market Place, the fantastic new store is home to the latest innovations available in the eye health industry. The additional square footage offers the team a greater capacity to carry out more eye examinations than before. The sight-testing rooms have doubled from three to six and there is a brand new dedicated hearing room.
Brand new cutting-edge tablet technology, Digital Precision Eyecare that takes a customer’s facial measurements when dispensing glasses to give a personal fit, is available for local residents. The store’s same-day service is also supported by the latest software in optical technology that makes the process of dispensing frames smoother and quicker.
The new store also has the latest in eye scanning technology in the form of an Optical Coherence Tomographer – a service that previously would only have been available in a hospital. This is a non-invasive way of scanning the health of the retina in amazing detail and can help manage conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease.
