A local Woking children’s football team will certainly look the part this season after striking a sponsorship deal with a local opticians.
St Bede's C of E Junior School football teams
Specsavers in Woking, located at 3 Mercia Walk, has become an official sponsor of St Bede’s Church of England Junior School football teams and has kitted them out with brand new kits to replace the existing one, which is 10 years old.
Invitation for eye tests
There will be no excuse for missing an open goal as the store will be inviting members of the team to have their eyes tested and will also educate them about the importance of having regular eye examinations.
Carey Galloway, store director said: ‘I think it’s really important for local businesses to support their local clubs and we are very proud to be sponsoring the St Bede’s football teams. We wish them every success for this season and would encourage everyone in the local community to get behind them and offer their support.’
