A contact lens optician from Specsavers in Witney embarked on a 100k cycle ride to raise funds for Sport Relief.
Rob Nicol from Specsavers in The Woolgate Centre, Witney, took part in the challenge over Sport Relief weekend (18-20 March).
Over the same weekend, to support him in his efforts, the team at the store cooked up a storm and offered baked treats to visitors in return for donations, raising nearly £250.
‘It’s great to get behind these charity initiatives and do our own bit to help support them,’ said Cathy Mullen, store director.
Sport Relief is a biennial charity event from Comic Relief, in association with BBC Sport, which brings together the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world's poorest countries.
