Witham eyecare experts are renewing their appeal in aid of an international sight charity.
The team from Specsavers in Witham have collected and donated specs for charity, Vision Aid Overseas in recent years and are calling for residents to drop off their old and unwanted glasses in store as they champion the campaign once more.
A word from the store director
Jennifer Bowen, store director at Specsavers in Witham, said: ‘Residents have always given generously to our Vision Aid Overseas specs collection box. We hope that by renewing our call for donations, it will remind people that they can put their specs to good use when they’re finished with them.
‘It’s such a simple initiative but it can really make a positive change in people’s lives. Pop by the store and drop off your old and unwanted specs today.’
