Staff from Specsavers in Winsford have cycled over 180 miles in aid of Red Nose Day, with customers joining in the journey.
Cycling for charity
Between 7-14 March, the team rode the store’s exercise bike the 181 miles from Winsford to London, and customers keen to saddle up helped join the quest in return for a donation to the Red Nose Day appeal.
The festivities did not stop there, with staff wearing red and holding bake sales on the official Red Nose Day weekend – 13 – 14 March.
Healthy support for Red Nose Day
Peter Adshead, store director at Specsavers in Winsford, said: ‘We’ve enjoyed this exhilarating and healthy way of supporting Red Nose Day. Our staff and customers have donned their best cycling attire to help us complete our mammoth challenge, while raising cash for Red Nose Day.’
