The new Specsavers store in Wick has opened, providing locals with regular access to eyecare and hearing services.
Marking the occasion
Specsavers opened its doors on Bridge Street this week after its mobile eyecare service in the area proved hugely popular and the store’s first customer, Avril Budge, was presented with a bottle of champagne and free pair of specs by store director Tony Caffrey, to mark the occasion.
Staff are also busy planning an official launch party to celebrate with customers later this month.
Tony said: ‘We were delighted to welcome our first customers to the store and look forward to seeing even more in the coming months.
‘We had lots of enquiries from locals who were excited to hear plans for an opticians on their doorstep prior to the opening.
‘All our staff are looking forward to celebrating the arrival of the new store with the local community in a few weeks’ time.’
