Specsavers in Leeds has launched its ninth store in a move to meet customer demand.
Located at the White Rose Centre, the new optical and hearing care centre will create 12 new jobs.
The 1,000 sq. ft. new store will boast two opticians, two test rooms, a hearcare room and house more than 1,200 frames from designer brands including Balmain, Converse and Disney.

To celebrate the opening of the store on Saturday 24 March, Leeds Rhinos players Kallum Watkins who is currently captain and Brett Ferres officially opened the store and took photos with fans and the Super League trophy. Other activities included face painting and a Disney-themed colouring competition for kids.
Providing local residents excellent eyecare
Speaking about the new store, Clare Thornton, retail director at Specsavers White Rose, said: ‘We’re really excited to be launching the new store, we are committed to providing the residents of Leeds with the most up-to-date optical services and it will enable us to serve even more patients in the local area.
‘Not only will the new store offer an even higher level of optical service to customers with the latest technology, it will also offer hearing services under the same roof.’
Situated inside Sainsbury’s at the White Rose Centre, the location will mean that customers will get easier access to the store with the convenience of parking spaces available.
