All eyes were on Whiteley when the new Specsavers opened in the shopping centre.
Official launch event
Specsavers in Whiteley celebrated an official launch event on Saturday 29 August. Whiteley Council Chairman, Councillor Mike Evans paid a visit and the community were invited to come and see the new store.
Throughout the day customers benefited from a discounted £10 sight test. Staff encouraged donations for children’s charity, Naomi’s House, raising a total of £102, and the store was also visited by the Specsavers quadraped.
Experiencing a high quality of eyecare services
Specsavers Whiteley and Fareham store director, Simon Wain says: ‘It was great to invite the Whiteley community in store so they could experience our high quality of eyecare services.
‘The store was buzzing and it was wonderful to see so many people come and see what we can offer. We’re keen to develop a strong relationship with our local residents and look forward to welcoming more customers.’
Lee Johnston, who also runs the Fareham store with Simon, says: ‘Whiteley residents can now benefit from our bespoke eyecare service and a wide choice of over 1,500 frames, as well as hi-tech equipment available to ensure a perfect frame fit for every customer.
