The team at Specsavers Westway Cross have just handed over some much-needed funds to the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).

The store, in Westway Cross Shopping Park, Greenford, has raised almost a hundred pounds thanks to the generosity of customers dropping in their spare change.

In total, £94.95 has been handed over this month.

Leading charity

The RNIB is the UK’s leading charity supporting blind and partially sighted people.

They offer both practical and emotional support to people with sight problems, so they can live life to the full.

Pleased to support

Shaan Patel, store director in Westway Cross, said: ‘The RNIB is a great charity, and we are very pleased to be able to support it with our collection box in store.

‘We would like to thank all of our customers for their continued generosity.’
