Striving for excellence
‘We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted in these two categories. It reflects the aims at the heart of our store, to strive for excellence in every area of our service,’ commented West Bridgford store director Stephen Rogers.
‘We are so delighted with how the Nottinghamshire stores performed!’ enthused Nottingham store director Simon Dunn. ‘There was massive competition this year across the categories, and to have been recognised for our performance across several of these is a great honour.’
The teams attended the awards held at the Birmingham ICC last month. Selected from stores across the UK and Ireland, the Nottingham stores were commended for their commitment and drive to go above and beyond for their customers.
Actor Stephen Mangan hosted the evening, attended by almost 1,000 guests. There was also a performance from ‘alternative magician’ Sean Heydon, who roped Specsavers founders Doug and Mary Perkins into a trick on stage.
