Specsavers in Wells has hosted an array of fundraising activities to raise more than £225 for Guide Dogs UK.
Staff at the store carried out specs repairs for customers in return for donations and also wore summer dresses for a day to raise more money for the charity which provides mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people.
‘We’re proud to be raising money for Guide Dogs,’ said Nic Johns, store director. ‘It’s a charity which does so much for visually impaired people in our community and across the country.’
The money raised by the store will go directly to helping the charity to continue its core mission of providing guide dogs to blind and partially sighted people, in addition to educating the public about eye health.
