Specsavers in Wells is helping children to be seen more clearly this winter by giving away a free high-visibility vest with every child’s eye examination.
The store is giving any child who has a sight test between now and the end of the year a free hi-visibility vest*. Now that the clocks have gone back and the nights are darker, it’s even more crucial that local children can be seen when out and about.
‘The safety of children in the town is very important to us and we hope the hi-vis vests will help ensure they are safe this winter,’ said Nic Johns, store director at Specsavers in Wells.
‘November also marks Road Safety Week (17-23), an initiative from national road safety charity Brake, which Specsavers supports. By giving out the vests we are helping to spread the message, so if your child is due a sight test, please do make an appointment.’
As part of Specsavers’ Two Free Pairs promotion, children up to the age of 16 qualify for one free pair of specs from the NHS and a second pair from Specsavers free of charge. Kids specs also come with free ‘SuperTough’ Trivex lenses.
