The team at Specsavers in Wellington is hosting a week of activities to kick off National Eye Health Week (19-25 September), raising vital funds and awareness in support of the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
Fun and games
Staff will be encouraging customers and staff to join in with the fun and games, which will include a colouring competition and a ‘guess how many specs are in the box’ game, where customers could be in with a chance of winning a £50 eyewear voucher. The store will also be offering glasses cleaning and adjustments in exchange for donations to the charity.
This fundraising activity follows a charity football tournament on Sunday 18 September, where multiple teams from Specsavers stores across the region went head to head to raise money for the RNIB.
