The Watford team has gone the extra mile as part of an on-going drive to provide the best level of care to all customers.
Two members of the team have completed a specialist training course developed by The National Autistic Society, which aims to build their knowledge about the lifelong developmental disability and help improve care offered to customers with the condition.
'Providing the best care for our customers'
Tracy Carr, store manager, and Maude Collins-Pallett, an optical advisor, both took part in the training. Tracy said: ‘Both Maude and I loved taking part in the training and we are looking forward to improving the level of care we provide to customers with autism.’
Aftab Sham, store director in Watford, added: ‘Staff have undertaken various training programmes which are designed to continually develop and improve the level of care provided to our customers.
‘Having completed the course, Tracy and Maude are now equipped to offer compassionate care to people with autism who visit our store.’
