Staff at Specsavers in Watford have been busy rallying the troops to support World Hearing Day.
The hearing centre - along with their optical peers - backed this year’s campaign ' Hear the Future', by raising awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss by taking the best care of your ears.
On Saturday 3 March, the team welcomed local residents to the High Street store for a free hearing test, with no need for an appointment.
Each visitor received a full hearing and general ear health check (including a check for any excessive wax build up), taking just three minutes.
A word from the store director
Store director Emma Handford said: 'All too often people do not notice hearing loss until later in life and we're keen to encourage people not to leave their ears unchecked.'
Visitors and shoppers were also able to take advantage of a free pair of ear plugs, which were being given out at nearby Café Nero.
