Specsavers in Wantage has celebrated its second birthday in style, with staff baking an array of cakes as a way of thanking customers for their support.
In addition to providing sweet treats, staff from the store laid on entertainment in the form of a face painter and balloon modeller for younger visitors.
The team also handed out bottles of water with free sight test vouchers. ‘Since we first opened our doors in 2012, we’ve seen 8,500 customers visit our store and dispensed 15,000 pairs of specs,’ said Nicky Rutter, store director.
‘With that in mind, we wanted to do something to thank customers for the support they’ve shown the store.’
‘Our team of eight is committed to delivering the highest standards of service to our customers,’ continued Nicky.
‘Regular eye tests are important in maintaining good eye health, so we’d like to think we are the equivalent of your friendly local GP.’
