Specsavers Walton on Thames has increased its capacity, meaning it will be able to carry out 600 more eye tests a month.
An investment for the future
The store has had a new state-of-the-art testing facility installed which will allow them to conduct thousands more eye tests a year, including NHS tests.
In order to help more members of the community look after their eye health, £90,000 was invested to refurbish the 13-year-old store.
Eye care in the community
Store director Mital Patel said: ‘We’re thrilled this investment will help the local community to access vital eye screenings, which can monitor eye health and detect potential issues. The investment has seen the installation of a new test room as well as an upgraded and spacious waiting area.
'We’ve already had great feedback and many compliments from the customers and we’re looking to improve the eye health of the town overall.’
