A Walton on Thames resident has thanked his local Specsavers team for going the extra mile to provide exceptional levels of customer service.
‘I’d just like to say a ‘wow’ to customer service. That's service with a smile, and talk about going beyond your normal working duties.
‘I put a request in at 10pm to see if I could possibly have my new glasses posted out to me. I couldn't collect them as I’d just come out of hospital after having surgery.
‘I waited for a reply and at 9:30 the next day I got a call from the manager of the Walton on Thames Specsavers branch asking how he could help.

‘I explained my predicament and asked if he could post them to me. He said he would deliver them to me in person the same day. Now that's got to be worth a big fat wow.
