Staff at Specsavers in Wallington have scared up much-needed funds for the Alzheimer’s Society by hosting a Halloween event at the store last month.
Getting into the spooky spirit
The team got customers in the seasonal spirit by dressing up in variety of costumes ranging from vampires to Harry Potter.
They also encouraged the local community to get in on the fun and support a good cause by hosting a cake sale and putting out a collection tin, with all proceeds going directly to the Alzheimer’s Society.
A word from the store director
Store director Charnjit Dhaliwal said: ‘The team had a lot of fun dressing up and we had a great response from customers to our call for donations.
'Dementia is a serious condition that affects many people, so we were more than happy to raise money to help support the Alzheimer’s Society research into this.’
