If you are looking for a way to improve your health this year, you could do worse than having an eye test.
That is according to the eye health experts at Specsavers Uxbridge, in Chequers Square, The Pavilions Shopping Centre.
Not all about glasses
Regular eye tests can detect changes in your vision which might mean you need a new prescription for glasses or contact lenses.
But they can also detect the early stages of a number of other conditions, like diabetes and glaucoma.
A word from the store director
Michael Wong, store director in Uxbridge, said: ‘Unless you have been told to have one more often, we recommend that you have an eye test every two years. That applies to adults, and to children over the age of three.
‘Having an eye test is quick and easy, so there really is no excuse to not do it. We hope to see you in store soon.’
