Staff at the Uxbridge opticians have been praised by a local woman for their fantastic customer service.

Tricky situation

The customer said: 'I went today to collect my new glasses which I had chosen, ordered and paid two weeks ago, and I wanted to investigate contact lenses.

'One pair was not ready due to a damaged lens.  Unfortunately even after much adjustment the second pair of glasses did not fit correctly which meant that the damaged lens pair would not fit either as they were plastic and a similar style.

'This could have been a tricky situation and I could have been angry and upset and demanded a refund. However how this was dealt with in store made me feel calm and  leaving the store happy and confident that the same thing would not happen again. 

'Jenny was the person today who managed the situation and provided very good customer service to me.  She helped me to choose different styles advising the best ones that would work for me. She took time to explain everything and didn't make anything difficult. 

'Please pass on my thanks and appreciation.'
