Specsavers Uckfield pulled out all the stops this National Eye Health Week to raise funds for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
And the High Street store raised £100 by selling cakes and collecting donations.
A word from the store director
Badrinath Mohandas, store director in Uckfield, said: ‘We are delighted to have been able to raise such a brilliant sum for such a great charity, and to highlight the importance of taking care of your eye health at the same time.
‘Regular eye tests are the best to way to detect changes in your eye which could indicate a number of different eye or general medical conditions, so if you have not had an eye test for a while why not book one today.’
