Truro Specsavers staff went all out for this year’s Comic Relief with a big Red Nose Day bake sale.
Staff also donned their official novelty Comic Relief glasses sold exclusively at Specsavers to promote sales.
Thanks to everyone’s support and the kind generosity of customers more than 200 pairs of the specs were sold!
In total Specsavers stores nationwide even beat their pledge of £250,000, raising a massive £475,000 and staff at Truro Specsavers featured on the BBC talking about the success!
Truro store director, Graham Dunn, said: ‘Thanks to everyone who came in to the store to take part in Comic Relief and purchase their novelty glasses. There were so many tasty treats on display that it was difficult not to make a donation!’
A great cause
