Specsavers in Totton would like to remind people of the eyecare charity, Vision Aid Overseas (VAO) when buying their glasses this year.
New eyecare outreach clinics
VAO supports under-developed African communities which have a lack of eyecare services. The charity works in six different countries in Africa to provide them with new eyecare outreach clinics.
Specsavers Totton store director, Leighton Simmons said: ‘VAO do fantastic work and we want the people of Totton to continue to support them with donations.
‘Specsavers have an excellent relationship with the charity and our staff are fully behind all of their hard work in Africa. We’re encouraging people to keep giving their unused glasses and money to VAO to help make a difference in disadvantaged communities.’
