Santa had to do without his elves for a day this month while they spent it hard at work at Specsavers Tottenham.
The team at the High Road store dressed up to raise awareness and money for the Alzheimer’s Society. They raised £41 for the charity in the process.
Elf Day is an annual charity day which took place this year on Friday 8 December. People across the UK are encouraged to unite in support of people affected by dementia.
Embrace your inner elf
Aayan Gunasingam, store director in Tottenham, said: ‘The team really enjoyed embracing their inner elf for the day, and we were delighted to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society at the same time.’
Every little helps
’It is so scary to think that someone develops dementia every three minutes.
‘Every little really does help the charity help those who have been diagnosed with this condition and their families, as well as seek a cure, so I would like to thank our customers for their donations.’
