The founder of Britain’s largest opticians has opened a newly re-fitted Specsavers store in Torquay after 30 years of being on the high street.
Re-modernisation and expansion
Dame Mary Perkins headed to Specsavers in Torquay on Monday 8 September to celebrate the store’s re-modernisation and expansion.
Customers were greeted by men on stilts and a festive balloon arch, with staff handing out goody bags.
The store is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and is one of the longest established businesses in Torquay.
A new era
Specsavers Torquay store director, Joy Filon says: ‘We can’t wait to welcome customers into our new store.
‘The store is heading into a new era! We want to encourage more people to visit us and experience a professional service, showing them that we can provide Torquay with the best eyecare.’
