Specsavers in Tonbridge recently celebrated its anniversary, marking 15 years of service to the Tonbridge community.
Store directors Angus Hathorn and Nicola Wilkinson oversaw the opening of the store in 2002. At the time the business featured three test rooms, a contact lens area, and a hearing lab. After a refit in 2016 the store has grown, and now features a completely new design, four test rooms, numerous contact lens clinics, a hear care room and the number of staff has grown from just seven to 20.
Birthday celebrations took place on Sunday 21 May and the store was decked out with balloons and posters for the occasion, and featured a fantastic cake to thank customers for their continued loyalty and support.
Nicola says: ‘It is remarkable to see how far we have come. We couldn’t have done it without the help of our amazing customers and staff.
'Over the years we have sought to not only offer the best possible optical service, but also to play a vital role within our community, which has always supported us. We wouldn’t be celebrating this milestone if it wasn’t for them’.
