The team at Tiverton Specsavers hearing centre has been awarded the Improving Quality in Physiological Service (IQIP) standard - a programme sponsored by the Department of Health Chief Scientific Officer to promote and recognise good quality practice.
What is IQIPS?
The accreditation assesses services against professional standards across four domains.
These are clinical, safety and facilities, workforce and patient experience, designed to raise standards for people undergoing audiology examinations and care.
Specsavers Tiverton store director, Emma Denham, says: ‘Well done to the team. Achieving this high level of accreditation is testament to their hard work. Our customers can now be assured that they are receiving consistently high quality audiology services delivered by competent staff working in a safe environment.’
