Specsavers in Thornbury have channelled their inner Mary Berry to whip up a feast of fundraising for UK charity, Brain Tumour Support.
Raising more than £350
The team hosted a bake sale in aid of the charity, raising more than £350. They also invited the Mayor of Thornbury into the store to support the fundraising day.
A word from the store director
Store director, Mark Walker said: ‘It was lovely to have the Mayor and some of the Brain Tumour Support team come down to the store and chat through all the brilliant work that they do.
‘We’ve nominated Brain Tumour Support as our 2017 charity and are really looking forward to working alongside them for the rest of the year. There is a really important link between sight tests and brain tumours, and we think this charity partnership is a great fit.’
