Thetford student and optical assistant Sophie Clark, has kindly donated 13 inches of her hair to the cancer charity, Little Princess Trust that provides real hair wigs to boys and girls that have lost their hair through cancer treatment.

Snipping for a special cause
Sophie, who works part time as an optical assistant at the store, ended up raising £350 for the charity, by lopping off a whopping 13 inches of her hair with the help of local hairdressers JC Beauty.

Her father and store director, Paul Clark has commended her saying: ‘I’m really proud of Sophie and the team for their support and donations.'

Superstar support
The Little Princess Trust is a children’s cancer charity that supplies real hair wigs to children suffering with cancer, for the duration of their treatment.  They assist children with other conditions which also result in hair loss, the most common being alopecia. The charity has recently received support from One Direction superstar Harry Styles when he cut his famously luscious locks, creating global awareness for the cause.
