A talented Finding Dory fan was overjoyed this weekend after her artwork won her a family voucher to see the film.
Thetford's budding artists
Seven-year-old Grace’s fish-themed creation was picked as the favourite from more than 20 other entries into a children’s drawing competition at Specsavers Thetford.
The store gave young artists the chance to get creative by colouring and drawing artwork with an underwater theme, in keeping with the new colourful kids range of Finding Dory specs that launched in store last month.
"We loved each and every creation"
Store director, Paul Clark, said: ‘It was a hard choice after receiving so many wonderful pictures in store but we loved each and every one and were happy to make a visit to the opticians a fun experience for the kids. Children’s eye health is as important as any other part of their health so why not make it enjoyable!’
Specially designed for young faces, the Finding Dory glasses are priced at £64 and free for under-16s with an NHS optical voucher. All come fitted with flex-hinges and scratch resistant lenses with a UV filter. Plus children can also choose an additional free pair of frames in the Specsavers’ kids get two free pairs offer.
