Staff at Glasgow Fort celebrated their 1st birthday with a spec-tacular day of fun, entertainment and a special visit from mischievous guest.
Marking its first year of caring for the eyesight of people in Glasgow East, everyone’s favourite Minion, Dave, joined the Glasgow Fort team in a fun-packed day of birthday celebrations.
Entertaining guests as they visited the store, Dave the Minion helped celebrate in style as the store provided a face painter and balloon modeller for the kids, stilt walker, Specsavers selfie station, goodie bags and fantastic offers and giveaways.
The first 10 customers also received 50% off a pair of frames from the £69 and above range as well as enjoying 25% off on the day.
A word from our store director

The new hi-tech store brings together Specsavers’ years of expertise in taking care of the nation’s hearing to Glasgow, following a £500,000 investment to improve the service the local store can offer the community.
And with extended opening hours including Monday - Friday 10am -9pm, Saturday 9am-8pm and Sunday 10am-7pm – there will be plenty of opportunity for customers to stop by.
