All eyes were on Specsavers in Telford as it welcomed a very special guest to its official opening on Thursday 10 September.

The Mayor of Telford, Councillor Leon Murray and the Mayoress, his wife, Mrs Barbara Murray officially opened the re-located Specsavers store at 46 Southwater Way in the Telford Shopping Centre. They were joined by Martin Wood, the world’s tallest Town Crier, who ensured everyone knew that the store had moved!

‘We were delighted and honoured that Councillor Murray and his wife were able to join us to help celebrate this milestone,’ said store manager Mr Gareth Dobson.

‘Looking back over the last 26 years, it’s amazing to see how the business has changed.  But our values and commitment remain the same – ensuring that we provide the very best in eye care to all our customers.’
