The audiology team at Taunton Specsavers has been awarded a prestigious national accreditation for their provision of audiology services.
Quality professional standard
The Improving Quality in Physiological Service (IQIP) standard is a programme sponsored by the Department of Health Chief Scientific Officer to promote and recognise good quality practice for people undergoing audiology examinations and care.
The accreditation assesses services against professional standards across four domains. These are clinical, safety and facilities, workforce and patient experience.
A word from the store director
Specsavers Taunton store director, Emma Denham, says: ‘Well done to the team. Achieving this high level of accreditation is testament to their hard work.
‘As highlighted by the scheme our customers can now be assured that they are receiving consistently high quality audiology services delivered by competent staff working in a safe environment.’
