Specsavers in Tamworth raised an impressive £121.42 from a fun day held on Saturday 11 July, in aid of the Royal Voluntary Service.
Family day fun!
The family fun day included fundraising activities such as face painting, a raffle and a ‘guess how many sweeties in the jar’ game.
Laura Hale, audiologist and store director in Tamworth, said: ‘The fundraising day was a big success; the kids loved the face painting and it was great to see everyone having a good time in aid of a worthy cause. We’re very pleased to have raised money for the Royal Voluntary Service, which does fantastic work to support elderly people in communities across the country.’
‘Hearing loss can affect every aspect of an older person’s life and we hope that our fun day helped to raise awareness of age-related hearing loss and the signs to look out for.’
