All eyes will be on a new opticians opening in Leicester later this month.

New store coming to Leicester
Specsavers will open in Sainsbury’s Leicester North Superstore, at 501 Melton Road, on Tuesday 27 November, operating as a sister store to the neighbouring Specsavers Syston branch. The business will be run by directors and husband and wife team, Hina and Nimesh Popat, who have more than 25 years’ optical experience between them.

A word from the store directors
‘Nimesh and I are really excited about opening the new store in Sainsbury’s and welcoming customers through the doors,’ said Hina. ‘It’s a fantastic opportunity to be able to offer our customers the same excellent standards of eye care and customer service in a new super accessible location.’

Latest technology
The brand-new store boasts all the latest high-tech optical equipment including an advanced eye-scanning system, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), usually found in hospital eye departments. The OCT machine helps to detect several eye conditions, including glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.

The Leicester North store will be open seven days a week, with hearing appointments available.
