The Specsavers store on the Kingsway in Swansea was all aglow in aid of Guide Dogs, raising £90.50 for the charity through a day of fundraising activity.
Staff members donated £1 for swapping their usual uniform for bright neon clothing, while members of the public also donated throughout the day.
To help celebrate the long-term commitment that Specsavers has had to raising funds for Guide Dogs, Specsavers stores across the whole of the UK and the Republic of Ireland took part in a one-day fundraising initiative.
Store director, Steve Jones, says: ‘Just ahead of the clocks changing and the Halloween break, we wanted to get involved in this nation-wide event and support all of the other Specsavers stores taking part.
‘Myself and all of the team would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated on the day. We’d also like to thank Julie Rees for bringing in her Guide Dog to our store. Everyone looked great in their neon clothing and I’m sure that all of the stores who took part will have helped to raise a considerable amount of money for Guide Dogs.’
