Employees from the Sutton Coldfield branch joined 7,000 runners when they took part in the Great Midlands Fun Run on Sunday 1 June.
A team of 12 put on their running shoes and tackled the 8.5-mile course.
Supporting local girls
Staff took part and raised money for local charity Cherished which provides support for young girls who have low self-esteem.
This is not the first time that workers from the store have taken part in the fun run; this will see them complete their fourth year!
Store director, Tim Goodhew, said: ‘We were happy to take part again this year and raised several hundred pounds for Cherished. The fastest member of our team, Indi Hothi came in at a time of 1 hour and 10 minutes.’
In total, more than £1.85 million has been awarded to charities since the inaugural Great Midlands Fun Run in September 2003.
Cherished works with young girls and provides information and emotional support through interactive courses typically lasting eight to ten weeks in small groups or individually.
