The team at Specsavers in Stroud had a very special guest pop in to support the Comic Relief initiative, donning a pair of the Specsavers official novelty specs for charity.
Staff welcomed singer-songwriter James Morrison into the store to purchase a brand new pair of specs.
A word from the store director
Rizwan Choonara, store director, was delighted to have James in-store: ‘He was a great guy and very friendly – we were all rather star struck, including me!
‘We’re so glad he popped in to support the Comic Relief fundraising initiative and jumped on the social media Mexican wave!’
Visitors to Specsavers in Stroud can join in with this year’s Comic Relief theme ‘give us a wave’ with Specsavers’ official Red Nose Day glasses. The glasses, which have a waving hand on each side, come in children’s and adult sizes and are just £2, with all the money donated to Comic Relief.
Customers are also being encouraged to take a waving selfie while wearing the glasses and share it on social media using the hashtag #giveusawave.
